Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Glad to here the shocker problems sorted matey, at least thats one thing off your mind :)
I removed the slam panel mate, you could get away with keeping it and cutting it slightly to improve airfow, but i found it easier to just take it off
Hmmm, it depends on what bodies mate, id need to see what bodies they are to be honest, as long as the tps can attach and turn the required...
Me personally i always genuine Genuine service bits, that way you know your not going to get an inferior oil filter for example, different oil filters can effect oil pressure.
Some places are fine, the problem is it can be hard to tell, and a genuine oil filter is about 3 quid lol
Also they...
Apologies with the quality, the bad start, and slow gear changes lol.
Also was changing around 6500, I will get a proper video up using all the available power.
Comments welcome :)

Funny you should say that mate, with what we did, I wasnt even sure if the thing would start, but the fact it fired up and ran fine left us speechless for about an hour lol.
Lots of time planning, trial and...
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77

Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Sounds a plan matey :D
Will be good to have a gander at yours, not seen it since it was near standard
lol yeah true, it was loosing a good 10 bhp, so need to sort that out, though iv wedged in back on as temp measure and iv wedged it in a way so it doesnt get sucked in, so that will do till iv had a re think
hmmm, air temp sensor? I had one fail and mine wouldnt run at all, id check for air leaks mate (not doubting your work) like the rubber bung on the inlet by the t/b
Not sure yet mate, I had Ktecs filter, but it kept slipping down the trumpets and loosing a load of power, so im going to look at either fixing it still some how and see if it effects power, or looking at another sausage filter i expect matey
Cheers matey, we will have to organise you coming to look (And anyone else interested)
It was fun to do! Id be happy to do it all again, now I know what im doing, mines going to have a lot more develpment yet as there are some areas I want to improve on, some new brackets, il update as it...
Thanks Darren thats really kind of you to say so :)
It was great to get such high figures on Pauls rollers, as Pauls are classsed as very accurate, im sure on other rollers it would get even higher figures, not that that bothers me :)
Its the torque thats the best thing, over 150lb ft from...
Edit:
One thing I forgot to say, is due to using the standard ECU, it means there are no dash lights on, the standard dash computer works, and it will look very 'factory' rather than aftermarket (Once iv finished it lol)
Very true Tom, im very impressed with the flexibilty of the ECU :)
On the money side, I managed to do it cheap, but buying new i would imagine you would be right, buying 2nd hand itb's would make it considerably cheaper and probably a more viable option, sorry I should have stated that in my...
Yes mate, though I got a few good deals, im confident its do-able for around that price.
Thanks mate, I couldnt get any more power for any less :)
It is something that has been considered mate, watch this space :)
nice one let me know when your coming back up and i will bob down and...
Cheers fella :)
Nice mate :)
I think for ITBs its good, iv generally been told its difficult to get near std mpg, i think on my usual work run this week il be getting more than that :)
Crack on matey, you know an easy way to do it now ;)
