As far as I can work out an IPAQ on its own from PC world is £187.
TOMTOM want £137 for the software and reciever etc
ok cheers guys, but as far as I can see these don't include speed camera locations.
Im comparing an Ipaq running tom tom to the road angel navigator 6000 I mentioned in another thread....
Excluding the cost of the PDA can anyone tell me how much the tom tom software, including speed camera locations and gps receiver costs for an ipaq?
Cheers,
Alex
Ok guys, just reporting back, took the car to Nottingham Alignment Services where they completed a four wheel alignment (£37).

Im not too good with the mechanical side of things, but basically they look up your car on their system then attatch a 'magic box'...
When I had my cambelt changed over the summer the water pump on mine showed signs of leakage so had that changed and that was 5yrs old /50k. Set me back about £100 fitted so i probably got ripped off!
If you press the trip reset button when you first switch the engine on as it says OIL OK it gives you an oil level as a series of progressive squares.
Mines a 1.2 16v 54k and its never burnt any oil, and I give it some stick.
No to both. Would love to drive one but I would never own one.
I would not spend V6 type money on a Clio. Ever. If I become a millionaire one may make it into my dream garage, but I could not justify owning one, just too impractical as a main car, and as a second car I would go for something...
Knows it :rasp:
The Vee is a great car but I would struggle to spend over £10k on a french car with shocking french build quality. Its tolerable on a sub 10k Clio but when your spending twice that, not thanks, can't beat German build quality.
The Golf is alot more useable, I would never have...
Just inform the Neighbour, im sure they wouldn't mind, especially if you took them for a spin. I know that the old lady next door to me keeps an eye on my car because she knows its my pride and joy!

Well its an old tech oil burner so you may hear him coming.
Sounds stupid but make it difficult to steal, chain through the alloy and round a lap post, block it in with your step dads car etc
Or my favourite -wedge a kitchen knife/ or the biggest one you can get facing upwards under the drivers seat!
What about wheel clamping it?!
I was tempted at one point but apparently you need to take the headling down to fit it. I didn't fancy that, but then im lazy and not very mechanically minded.

hmmmmm decisions, always these hidden costs with these things, was going to ask for a private plate for christmas, but by the time you add the DOT fee etc it gets too expensive.
