Looks very smart. I think a shopping list can be acceptable if your car features all of the brands in the list. I spotted a Beemer the other day with 4 different suspension manufacurers logos scattered all over the car -which has it got?!
I ve swapped the front wheels with the back since, the only damage to the wheel was curbing so that eliminates the wheel as there is effectively two new ones on the front.
All the suspension links look ok to me although im no expert, im going to take i to get the tracking checked on Monday. No...
As mentioned in my other thread (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=185542) i managed to bump a kerb whilst avoiding an oncoming taxi on my side of the road.
I thought the car was ok apart from the kerbing to the wheel etc, but it appears the steering now feels heavier turning it...
Sorry to high jack your thread mate, but over Christmas im going to be after some Renault paint too, Royal Blue in my case, does anyone know of a supplier?
Depends on your financial situation, the amount of storage/ parking space where you live and whether you think its goin to get any use. Its probably not worth a great deal, may even be worth more to you in sentimental value, and you may regret it if you sell it. If you have a spare garage or car...
the standard gearbox is sloppy so sounds a good mod, in the 1.2 the gearbox does let it down when driving 'enthusiastically'.
I take it you have the Apex lowering springs, how much do they add to the insurance and what do they retail at?
Probably an 8v 1.2 you drove. The difference between the 8v and the 16v 1.2's is as pronounced as the difference between Vanessa Feltz and Paris Hilton.
I drove an 8v belonging to a friend and on the local bypass it struggles to get 85. My 16v will do 105 on the same bit of road.
What about women who wear veils, their windows are usually tinted to the v.max.
I think some windows are tinted to begin with, therefore you need to take this into account before tinting them further.
Who's painted their 16v door badges then?
What colour silver is the best match to the Renault Sport 2.0 badges. I know not everyone agrees with this practise but im going to do it anyway, so any advise much appreciated.

My only mod is my alloys and they are declared and Admiral were very good about it. It annoys me when company's look down on / assume everyone that modifies their car fits in to the boy racer camp.
I think its a good thing, the amount of sheds I see with bald tyres, universal backboxes pointing...
Cheers mate will get a new one sorted tommorow, wasn't quite sure where I stood with the law and that. The Toyos are quite cheap anyway, but it sure isn't what the gf is expecting for her birthday :D
I ve just had a closer look and it appears there is a chunk aout 5cm long missing from the sidewall of the tyre, maybe 0.5cm deep. Is this illegal, im thinking maybe I should just get a new tyre even though this one has only done 1000miles.....
Just been out to the cash point on my way back a taxi coming the other way is overtaking a cyclist (very narrow winding road), I move over to prevent wing mirror contact and due to the corner and darkness clip the curb. Result being a shaving off the side off my brand new toyo and a kerbing to...
I ve got Toyos on mine and im quite happy with them, haven't really gone for it in the wet yet, although they seem very grippy in the dry. Having said that I don't have the power of a 172.
Hi guys, would somebody mind Photoshopping this please, could you:
- Colour code the bumpers and door strips
- make the 16v badge on the door silver
-tint the windows subtly
-lower it around 60mm(ish)
Constructive comments only please, i have heard all the small wheel jokes btw!
Cheers,
Alex
