Not at all... If fitted correctly there is hardly an extra vibration compared to OE!
The people complaning about "harsh" "unbarable" vibrations will of fitted the mounts incorrectly!
For the wishbone bushes you need to tac weld in some metal collars, which are provided with the powerflex kit..
The ARB bushes are a bit of a pain to get to, but not impossible! (alot easier with ramp/lift access)
The dogbone mount can be changed quite easily, just need some "brute force" to...
PE2's lasted forever...
My last set consisted of:
25K road miles... (swapped front to rears after 12K)
1 track day
1 session at FCS
And I have just had a new set fitted last week!
Right, just preparing for the worst here!
Looking at potentially rebuilding the gear box as I am getting a bad whining from the differential...
After a quick search on the internet, I've found this "full" re-build kit...
I've got one if you would like it?
A few of the MK1 boys run them, I tried it on my 172 for a few weeks, made the gear changes excellent but that vibration is worse than OE !
if you want "grabby" get PF97's... the braking power from them in phenomenal!
Awesome braking power, hard wearing pads, you will go through 3 sets of discs to 1 set of pads though :D
