Clio 100 per cent at fault IMO. Moved left without looking. German law is clear, keep to the right.
I've seen a few crashes like this at the ring recently.
The OMP mounts won't make it higher than standard. They will be lower and the overall seating 'shape' of a bucket makes it lower. As said, I wouldn't go stupidly low as it becomes daft.
Here are mine, on OMP frames with sliders. I let other people take it on track, so I need the sliders to...
I don't agree with this, as you'd expect.
So far I haven't had a single niggly problem or rebuilt anything. I can leave it for 3 weeks, jump in and it fires first time. I can drive it to work 10 miles away and back for a week and it is fine, or I can drive it up to Manchester and back and it is...
The turbo packages Andy offers are quite frankly brilliant value for money.
If you want more power but like N/A delivery then you could look at a supercharger. Just need to budget for replacing the Rotrex at some point.
Boost over ITB's for me sadly. I love ITB's, the noise and the "rawness"...
Yeah it is reasonably straight forward. I kept my aircon right up until recently, when I had to lose it for the supercharger.
Otherwise it would still be there, track car or not.
You can do an EPAS conversion on them, for about £250 and the time to fit it. Means you can turn it to non-PAS for track work, and then dial the PAS back on for road work. I'm doing mine at some point in the near future.
Welcome along.
You chose the best colour as well :)
They go very well as both daily and track. Mine started life as a daily 4 years ago, and it was faultless. Now, well it is a little different now.
The 205 looks great, and 8:25 is a great time too. Any questions about the forum give me or...
If it is for track use, and budget isn't an issue, I'd look at a decent set of coilovers. Bilstein, BC or top end is AST.
If it is springs you're after, then most use Eibach Sportlines or Cooksports. The latter being preferred I believe.
Not sure on how much they will lower them by, but it...
Then ds1.11's are overkill.
A decent set of Mintex or Ferodo, like these, but George will be along in a mo with the best recommendation.

What do you use the car for? Track days or just road?
@George@RTR_Parts is the man to talk to.
I have ds1.11's and they are brilliant in terms of bite / stopping power. They squeel like a stuck pig though, so aren't great for a daily.
Sorry to see this bud, but at least you have a replacement engine lined up and a plan for sorting.
Scott is right, whilst putting the new engine in I'd throw some ARP's in. Not too pricey and worth it. I put a set in when I charged it but should have done before really.
Oh, and all the best...
I'll be along I think. Taking your word it is a good show  Mine is far from mint as you know. So don't mind if it is in or out of the paddock tbh.
I'm highly likely to do track time. Can't pass up the opportunity to drive Goodwood!
Will be good to see some of the older Renaults. I have...
