Not my cup of tea, though they do look nice in the flesh, a mate's dad has one and even since iv known him (about 15 years) its been under a sheet in his garage, and has about 10 boxes stacked on it lol
you could stick a hose pipe in your tail pipe and still after a drive it will blow it all out mate(i have seen this done lol), no need to worry there, the sloshing noise is though, i can only think either there was enough water inside to 'fill' up one of your exhaust boxes, id lay my money on...
Was expecting something like this when you said you had something special coming fella, really nice work there.
Is the racr series your entering very expensive? PM if poss as this is something i may have in the pipeline adventually
Just to clarify, iv seen, and heard this, and can vouch for it, works spot on, sounds the nuts and goes like stink
And you guys know me i dont put my name to just anything
Get a normal windscreen fitted out a base model Clio, it wont be heat reflective like the RS, but it will be lighter.
This is what the 172 Cups use, a screen out a base spec Clio
depends on a lot of things, some cars overheat easily, some cooling systems are not up to scratch, some have poor cooling tracks through the cylinder head, there are a lot of variables to take into context
I would lay a big bet not headgasket
I think it has come from cleaning the engine, have seen the same simptoms as you before on various 1*2s
As Dan has said, get the plugs out, change them, and possibly the leads, depending if they are contaminated, i think waters got down in the plug holes...
i expect the bolts may strip the thread out the manifold mate, they are only supposed to be done up very lightly, this happened with mine so i put normal nuts and bolts on
Also , even though power is down on some, they never seem to be much slower, i mean we are talking 5-10 between a good and bad one
Go for a higher mileage one, iv heard they are faster ;)
No problem matey, most of the time there are only in depth answers, thats the basics really, the heldex controller is what varies the power, take its fuse out and the car reverts to mechanical driven power, that being the front wheels :)
Cirtainly not a dumb question matey :)
When the car detects the wheels slipping (via many different sensors, abs sensors, throttle position etc etc)) it trasferes power to the wheel/s that have the most grip, constantly variaing(sp) the power.
On the RR, they take the fuse out which...
if cleaning them doesnt work, you can send yours away to be chemically cleaned
also try swapping it with the injector next to it, see if the fault changes to that injector, this will make sure its the injector at fault not a wiring break
