Uk turbo was badged Turbo2000 and the imports were wrx
though the newer bug eye scoobs onwards, the uk's were called the wrx, all 'classic' shape uk sciibs were called the Turbo2000
I was lucky to own a nice red classic uk Scoob, which had the original Prodrive pack, still miss it now :(
Looks good at that height mate, you dont want a back lane warrior low lol, thats why mines quick down the back lanes it just soaks up all the bumps perfectly
yes, that could well be whats happened, normally non-renault exhausts will have a name (janspeed, milltek etc) written on or stamped on the exhaust, have you tried looking for any markings or numbers on it?
Look at Fabia vRS's, regularly run mid 14's on the 1/4, id say thats not very slow
And bhp on its own is pub talk, its torque and bhp combined in the right way that makes a car fast

Got it quite well by the end of the...
do you mean Ph1s matey? They dont have a mech, they have elec, but witha speed sensor in the box, ph2's take the speed from the abs rings, so no sensor in box
as long as its been looked after it should be ok mate, but as we have not seen the car we can only generally comment.
My 172 is swiftly coming up on 133,000 miles and still runs really well, this one your talking about may be going but could be on its last legs,if it had a well serviced, not...
It all depends if your buying it for fun, or if you want to get as fast a lap time as you can, and of course fun.
If you want it for fun id by a ph1, we all know in the right hands a cup should be faster round a track, but as stated for the price difference id buy a decent, cheap Ph1, strip...
