Looks like a non GTi boodlid, i expect its been changed, as Mk3s rust badly around the number plate screw holes and the o/s of the rear window there is a small drain lip, they rust there too overall a steal, looks very nice Its a 2.0 8v 115 bhp

oh another question, as the holes are larger, wil lthe standard gaskets still fit ok?

my springs lasted till 115k, the front shockers lasted till 88k, the rears 101k

Just check all the general stuff mate Check CV boots engine/box mounts Cambelt must have been done at least once by now exhaust Look after it and it will be fine, im another 13k more than you and still running fine

yes mate, faces the o/s to the n/s as apposed to facing front to back, just in front of the petrol tank
