They went back as early as 1996, came with the F7R out the willy, though a few had head problems due to owners bouncing them of fthe 7100 rpm higher rev limit IIRC
Nippy, but too heavy to be quick, a lightly tuned 172 would keep with one without breaking a sweat
It all depends on how often you will go on track, i mean if its a few times a year is it really worth spending all that money? thats what i work work out first, how many track days you can afford to do
The filter has 4 buttons, two red one side, two green the other, use something put push one button in on one side and use your finger on the other, as i tried pushing the buttons in with my fingers but couldn't as they were a bit weathered lol
Covered 309 miles over this weekend, put in £36 fuel @ 1.10p a ltr
So that works out at 32.72 ltrs, and i work that out to be 42.9 mpg, not too bad for the old girl!
Last night about 7:15 ish, saw you driving down the M32, car looks so sweet in the flesh as it were lol, i was driving on the other side, heading back towards the M4

I have just got a new service book (cheers Paul!) as iv used up all the stamps in my old one, and havingf a quick read through i came across it, i can only assume its an update, as im sure it doesn't say it in my original service book.

Bit more research and have been told not to worry about the one in the tank, but in one by the side of the tank is due every 36k on the PH1, so mines about 40k overdue lol job for tomorrow
Chap at work has a Cooper S works, and followed me into work one morning, only thing he could say when i got to work before him was 'that thing bloody shifts' lol
so my daily route being 24 miles of A roads round trip id be looking at high 20's to low 30's? im averaging 36mpg atm, just interested to see what it would be like at 'normal' road driving (ie stuck behind a slow car at 50mph like most days :rolleyes: )

Lol yeah i think you would be lucky to get near 30 mpg and the 4wd system is supposed to be very unreliable from what i have heard.
So really its only the Rallye then lol, will they pull past 140?
Im not planning on selling mate don't worry :) its just an intertesing subject ,hoping il be able to fit a pushchair in the back then it will be fine lol
