I wish that was the case lol
Luckily i do have a spare set of ps2's in these sizes sitting , that i removed from the car when i had the LM's re-furbbed.
One more little change made today.
With now having fixed back seats the location for the suspension canisters on the rear shelf wasn't ideal for adjustment, so i have moved them onto the cage using a couple of motorbike fork mounts.
Before
After
New wheels and tyres , that should be with...
I know a lot of people have a dislike for the LM's on here but I've just agreed to buy a set of these wheels , which again may divide opinion but the LM's will not be going anywhere I will just switch as i fancy .
Few recent changes now has it looking like this , the orange wheels are still going to be used for track.
Will hopefully be going in to get detailed this week , by the same place that did my Porsche last month.
Unless
Unless I go to a Vmax type event at Brunters or Woodbridge I dont think i will be posting any 180mph runs online :smirk: not saying there wont be any made though..
Deposit is paid and the car booked in at 9e near London next month to get hybrid turbos, injectors, boost controller, switchable exhaust and a few other changes taking it to 9e30 spec. 0-300kmh in under 30 seconds.
Very true :)
Ive just booked up for my first track day in it later this year as well , looking forward to it but know I will probably lap slower than i did in my clio lol
Thanks I have been lucky in that since I bought the car back prices have went up a bit so probably worth a couple of $$$ more than I paid.
I am looking to maybe send the car down to Nine Excellence to have there 9e30 tuning package which would more than wipe out any money I could make on the...
Had the old girl in for a late winter protection detail last week as my local detailer had a deal on.
Car washed, dried ,de contaminated, DA'd then all paint, glass, wheels sealed.
Sadly no outdoor completed pics as it was both dark and raining buy the time they finished
Picked up my 16's yesterday so tried them on today to make sure brake clearance was ok, I ended up fitting a 5mm front spacer but would of probably got away with a 3mm.
The new toyo T1R's will be coming off and going up forsale and will see what 16" track tyres are available, always...
Will look them out from memory I think one has a some kerning but all the tyres are good, and they are straight. Im hoping to pick up some 16's for track this week so will let you know soon.
Very nice I like the way mountune adjusts the cam timing to gain torque in the mid range, wouldn't mind getting one of the locking tools and seeing if adjustments gain anything with Revo software.
I have a set of standard wheels In grey I might sell .
Bad news about the brakes and the suspension, Ive just fitted a K-sport kit to mine yesterday but will keep the standard set up as a back up I think. Did you just run the standard rear brakes, Im looking for a St170 rear set up to fit.
Finally got a chance to fit my brakes today ,:)
I was tempted to paint them red but decided to leave them black ,and paint the rear callipers to match when i fit the 280mm rear discs.
I have also agreed to buy a oil catch tank and symposer delete bung so hope to get those fitted...
I had the CM doors and tailgate fitted and the quality was excellent
Do you have a cage with door bars fitted ? Personally I would not be fitting fg doors without a door bar , if you are keeping a full interior I would not bother either, my doors use to flex at the top at anything over 80mph...
Yip im going to not let this one run away and go too extreme like the clio did.
The brakes on the fiesta are known to warp on track quickly , so trying to address the common faults/failings before taking it on track next year.
My old daily 182 cup was a cat d and never gave any problems. As long as they have been fixed properly it doesn't bother me as long as bought cheap.
It is just the light in the picture. It caught a kerb and the back beam moved and put the wheel into the 1/4. I have pics of before and during the...
Yip its down as a cat C , but I've seen others with similar damage going down as cat D .
I really just bought the wheels as they are light and had new tyres on them, ideally I wanted a set of old style comp MO 5's .
I will probably get a set of 888's for the standard wheels to use on track...
It was fixed when i bought it but worth think a few thou , as it needed a few airbags and 1/4 repair. Luckily it was rear damage so not as much little parts to replace , like in front end damage.
After selling my clio track car to Stu a few weeks ago , I wasn't really planning on buying anything but then this came up damaged/repaired for a price I couldn't pass up.
This will now be my new daily/track car  after also selling my X5 this week as i no longer need it to tow with.
2014...
Fire along and have a shot one day if you want, i may do a hybrid turbo at some point which should see 280 bhp but thats as far as I would take it. Simon from Sitech was running 330 bhp out of his but thats a good bit more £££
I ordered the parts to take it from 180 to 230+ bhp on the way up the road from picking the car up lol.
For a 1.6 i was shocked how torquey they are even as standard, with the exhaust, cooler, intake and redo map its actually a fairly fast little car now and still returns 40+mpg on a run and 30+...
Sadly Im now no longer the owner of this little beast , with being away so much with work justnow i wasn't getting in enough trackdays to justify having the clio and jeep/towcar and the porsche .
I was tempted to break the car to get the as much money out of it as possible and had a breaking...
