Re: Knockhill Open Pit Lane Night 2014 (Deposits ASAP)
No offence taken Liam :) , is it Morgans old car you have now ? Last time Morgan and I were on track I was pulling a bit from him on the straights but it does go well.
I need to get more track time to get use to my car after the winter...
Re: Road/Track 172
Was seeing just over 130 but not sure how accurate the gauge is. Im not 100% sure on the oil as it was changed when the car was in for mapping.
Re: Road/Track 172
Over the weekend i did two track days at knockhil, a 4 hour open pit on Sat and a 2 hour open pit on Monday . The car was faultless both days bar the oil temp getting a little hight but Ive just bought an oil cooler to sort that .
Here is a video from the Monday night. I...
Think i may have been talking to you when trying to sort the exhaust mount.
Keep an eye out on here you should get a set of 15's for about £300/500 with tyres.
I would look at something like pro race 1.2's as a light strong track wheel , most of us that go to knockhill run Yoko A048 tyres.
I was up in the blue cup with carbon bonnet.
Thought it might have been yours Lee, when I saw the blue clio next to James.
What other toys do you have now ? have you chopped the 430 in for a 458 yet ?
Im sure Paul is fitting a turbo engine to the nova Morgan, didn't know he had finished the conversion but it was getting a sequential box as well.
Scrap that just looked at the pics, will you still be in the same class as him ?
Good pics I was going to head up but ended up doing family stuff. Seen a few pics on Facebook ,Stevie's red/white/black Porsche is still looking crazy.
Is it getting a full custom build with longer rods and fancy pistons , or a normal high comp build where all the parts are generally available off the shelf next day ?
Not good to hear but lets hope its a simple fix and the pistons aren't damaged
I was shitting it last week during my first time out on a my high comp build, specially since it was the first F4R i have built. Im sure once you get it sorted you will forget about the teething problems quickly once...
No Problem mate i just need 2 2118's really to make up another set, my black 1.2's are mint as never been on track with them just used as road wheels for driving back and forward to knock hill half a dozen times.
