could you not borrow an old persons garage for around 100 quid.... then put it on axel stands... to save your tires.... leave a very small amount of fuel in it... if it was garaged it would be fine no problem... i know of old jags that have sat in overgrown brush for years and have started and...
no i wouldn't imagine it would be.... or they would charge you several k......
i have the complete conversion for sale though.... PM me if your interested..
noticed the damaged 172 i bought has a slightly bent rear axel... noticed because 1 wheel is scrubbing.... and the gap between the end of the skirt and wheel is different on each side....

most cars are sent to auction... usually very good cars to buy as theyre not on sale due to a fault that people are trying to cover up, theyre taken away when people werent making the finance repayments... just as safe if not a safer bet than buying privately...
well i don't have either anymore.... i have a mk2 172 and a ph1 172....
Round the track i think you would get beaten by one... so its only looks you can comment on really...
not the case though is it....... and don't tell me you have driven one becuase i bet you havent.... your clearly just jumping on the bandwagon... like 1/2 of the people on the site..
make all new holes with a drill.... and use all the new screws and the old screws..... i just line up each end... screw 1 screw in each... then it should be lined up and put the rest of the screws in :)
the interior is gash imo.... and about it rattling.. i would rather have a rattly clio than a rotbox.... people have 6 month old ones they have had to take back becuase of rust on the door and boot shuts...
