th top of the engine won't get wet..... even if it does it will evaporate off straight away... not like when you squirt water down if you were cleaning it..
yeh try to use damp cloths rather than water.. or a spray bottle for putting water on then wipe off.... countless people including myself have had electrical problems after reaching for the hose. AutoGlym engine and machine cleaner is acid free and great for cleaning any oily type marks off if...
how do you get that.. a recall is asking for them to be returned.. doesn't mean they have to fit new parts..... it is an inspection and lubrication.... recalling is simply asking for the car to be returned for one reason or another...
if it is the same as the 1.2's etc... then the 172 one fits... renault now fit the 172 one if you take it in under warranty... so if it is the same as the 1.2/1.4/1.6 one then yeh the 172 one will fit...
its not worth 3700 on a cat d when its fixed.... i would forget that.... 3 at a push...
as for tidyclio... Subframes are 60 quid.... and easy as hell to fit.... so who cares about the subframe...
i think its a good buy at that price and i won't knock cat d's in any way.... as theyre...
just check the paintwork on the boot and bumper and the boot floor t check its not been in a bump... i can't suggest any reason why they would fit it on the wrong side unless its been repaired/repainted. unless it was stolen and the previous owner thought it looked better on the other side?
you can try replacing the mount... but mine had a new one and it didn't make much difference tbh.... or you can fit the K-tec one with stiffer bushes... but i imagine that vibration especially at idle would be terrible on a dci..
