id appeal to renault UK. its a noted fault and it renault thought about customers they should have recalled them for this (for the sake of some insulaation (which is the fix btw) it should be repairable i would have thought by simply replacing that section of the offending pieces of wire. After...
yes pull out the ash/coin holder. then the whole section pulls out around it. Just pop clips holding it i. Pull it from the front of the section (nearest to ciggy lighter. Personally i cut the insulation off the wires in a small area then soldered onto it and shrink wrapped around them. I did...
the amount of play in the shifter when in gear is too much, i can move it across the box so much and it feels so loose and old. I drove a mini cooper S the other day and just reminded me how loose mine feels. Is there a bushing you can replace or something?
car is a mk2 ph2 1.4 16v.
Bumper will fit but the holes don't algn on the bit under the boot lid.easy fix tho. When its getting painted just get the old holes filled and drill 2 new ones.. its basic i sware ;)
Im interested in this too. Ive never driven a car with as much engine slap as the clio mk2's. its shocking, mainly noticable with how much the gear stick moves around.
thanks

e46 bmw 3's have them as well.. Might have to get a couple from down the scrappers and have a mess with them.. I also considered them for the footwells. Another cool one is puddle lights as featured on some BMW's. Leds on the underside of the door. When you open the door it lights up the ground.
just push the rear quarter trims towards the front of the car. The attachement method are clips which are moulded with the trim, if you pull it off you will need a new trim. Just be patient and slide them forward.
bullbars aren't legal.......... and they don't protect pedestrians. Providing there is nothing protruding from the car like threaded rods etc you should be OK.
just had new dogbone at renault and still bad :( think its the unde battery mount. Where does this get damaged. i took battery out and looked at this one like a cabbage becuase i don't know what im looking for unlike the dogbone and top mount.
up to 40mm its ok to use the standard shocks. If your lowering 60mm is a minimum if you want it to look good imo. im running standard shocks with 60mm springs, but i doubt theyre going to last that long thats why im buying some shorter shocks. The Apex 60mm kit is good value or if your wanting...
I mean when moving slowly, again its not going to do more damage to the tracking than doing a sweeping corner at 60. Ill get the tracking done, its still under warranty but ive had it lowered. Might play a bit dumb and take it in. At least then they can diagnose the fault, and then tell me its...
Right ill try and explain these issues as well as possible....
