the amount of play in the shifter when in gear is too much, i can move it across the box so much and it feels so loose and old. I drove a mini cooper S the other day and just reminded me how loose mine feels. Is there a bushing you can replace or something? car is a mk2 ph2 1.4 16v.

Bumper will fit but the holes don't algn on the bit under the boot lid.easy fix tho. When its getting painted just get the old holes filled and drill 2 new ones.. its basic i sware ;)

Im interested in this too. Ive never driven a car with as much engine slap as the clio mk2's. its shocking, mainly noticable with how much the gear stick moves around. thanks josh

ye your probably right but i just forced them......by hand.. the front forced with a screwdriver wrapped in masking tape.

just push the rear quarter trims towards the front of the car. The attachement method are clips which are moulded with the trim, if you pull it off you will need a new trim. Just be patient and slide them forward.
