Just to confirm. mk2 ph2 1.4 16v there are the following mounts. Top engine mount on drivers side visible from under bonnet. Dogbone mount where the engine is attached to subframe under the car The mount under the battery, are there anymore?

Cleaning the throttle body/icv with some carb cleaner seems to fix this sometimes. Unless its a dodgy coil.

The cover is attached. Disconnect the battery for an hour (to be safe) and pop the 2 clips, can sometimes be a bit fiddly, the airbag unit pops out which includes the cover as its a fully sealed unit. Then simply unplug the connector behind that. ta josh

actually i already have this twisted mount. Think im still going to buy a spare to fit the powerflex bushes to, let me know what you think after a little more driving. Is vibration into the cabin more noticable?

won't be driveshaft i wouldn't have thought. My top mounts were squeaking a bit, just tigntened up the rubber bits on top, seemed to go away.

the new rules are that you can have it serviced at any VAT registered garage providing they use Renault parts. You are also allowed to miss 1 service all together and still be warranted and each service done is allowed a 1000 mile tolerance. feel free to correct me anyone.

why not keep an eye out for a rolling chassis? someone who has blown the engine up then you can drop yours straight in? seems to make sense.

ring around and get some prices and see what it adds up to. If you can do it cheap enough would be nice to keep it on the road.
