Explain how they will go about it when the lad contests that the person who crashed into him was speeding or driving eratically. Providing the 2 lads cooperate then theyre gonna be hard pushed to charge them and are unlikely to persue it in court as the police are likely to lose.
Yeh thats what i was trying to get at. If you give him a k, wether you have to borrow it etc, then at least he will be happy and probably get you off the police thing anyway, unless he wanted to press charges i cannot see that the police can take it any further, after all he was the only...
seems silly, but caught me out the other day, my mates cooper S, knocking noise under harder accelration, was convinced it was driveshaft... turned out to be loose wheel nuts, check the obvious first mate!

Why don't you ring him. Tell him the siutation with mods etc. Then offer to repair his car yourself (or pay for it to be repaired). Or pay him off with a grand. Take a loan out for a grand. The result, no need to go through insurance, so no trouble with mods, no need for police to be too...
thanks for the driving lesson but i always do anyway its something thats cropped up as of recent. Im just gonna change it at some point anyway. if its better oil i should notice some difference.

Plannning on changing my gearbox oil soon.
its a 1.4 16v engine, any idea what volume it holds?
What does everyone recommend, nothing expensive if possible, also readily available and decent quality, something to make the shift bit slicker than the standard Renault stuff.

can't be arsed with the effort, does it involve taking the shocker out etc? Hate anything to do with suspension always end up wrecking CV boots when trying to force the shocker back in. Think im going to pay and have it done for a change. Shall i just tell them not to bother with the tracking...
Got a N/S lower ball joint gone on my mk2 ph2 1.4 16v. Motorsave diagnosed it and they showed my the play in it as well. and got me a price one one. Joint was £10 and fitting was £20. does this sound reasonable? also they said the tracking will need doing after fitting, is this correct?
thanks...
awful, simply based on the fact the seating height isn't adjustable. Its very very very high. Other than that its a good car. Id stretch for a dynamique S.
God you really are an arse hole arnet you, least i have the same number of cylinders as a sport U Pr*ck. And the car looks identical. Even if the car had a v6 body kit on we would be able to tell the difference. where as mine, a recen thread as proven you can't even tell the difference. Go...
Yes mate easily. Although the top holes (ones you can see when you open bootlid may not line up, just a case of reaming 2 small holes in the right places. But other than that 10 min job max.
Lol if only it were so..... Your car is now slower, after fitting an ebay induction kit... end of discussion.. Least i get to lose in style ;) as proved by fcs 0 - 60 runs.
had a little bit of bother from the police in the form of a 30 quid fine for them. but nothing for a few months.
Glad most people like it so far im quite pleased with it at the moment.
Arches are removed atm until i find them used from a scrappy as they are 100 quid for the complete front...
