When looking in my car manual today it got me thinking...... The 1.4/1.6 share the same picture. whereas the 1.2 is quite different. Would it be possible to simply change the top end of the engine to the 1.6? by getting a 1.6 top end and swapping it over. what else would need to be done and how...

i was told its becuase of the temperature of the material which affects the way in which it colours finally after drying. The metal is colder than the plastic and the same goes for bumpers which are also a slightly different colour. however i could have been told wrong ;)

Just wondering if there is a step by step guide to fitting lowering springs on a mk2 ph2. Probably be dropping it 40mm. Are these cheap PI springs off ebay decent. If not those i will probably be using KTR springs. thanks josh

went to start my car as usual and my dipped beam isn't working :(. when i put sidelights on they come on.. then no dipped beam :( only a few mins before everything was fine. Any ideas... im going to take it to reanult on tuesday.
