In terms of prepping the car you might be better off leaving it standard it puts you in to a more competetive class.
Yea we did well not sure on results we were more concerned about the pub rather than result on Sunday, Had loads of fun though :) Did you drive on Sunday then? or just spectate ?
More than likely if there is a match on but I think the restaraunt is seperate to the bar so we should be fine. I have never been in there since they painted it bright orange and started selling burgers lol! ... Infact I have ever only been once, it looked a bit rough for my liking haha, much...
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
I am not a massive fan of the current wheels, I am currently on the look out for some replacements but I really don't want to break the bank :(
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
I am currently watching a few, M/C's on ebay hopefully get one sorted and yea pads will be getting changed when funds allow.
Did you buy yout AST setup new? are you using it on the standard ecu?
Like all the of edits Dan! Car looks amazing esspecially in the last two shots. But think the cobbled street one could do with a little more colour in the buildings... It looks the like the saturation has been sapped out the brickwork and the tower in the background :S
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
lol! Cheers Christopher :)
Are you going to the meet on Wednesday? What I don't get is I have taken better pictures of your car than alot of others and I can't be arsed to even point my camera at this one lol!
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
I already I have the GTI6 brakes and its already cammed, but the brakes just don't seem to have the power... I suspect its the shittypads that are fitted.
Looking forward to this meet now and its only 5 minutes from home :) looking forward to a catchup and meeting some new faces! I might even bring my camera along.
Re: My new project - 106 GTI

They still have the dc5's they used it the previous weekend in the night race a brands. The FD2 is a customers car which is supported by the team.
The noise limits where 100db drive by I believe but it they couldn't make their mind up between 100 & 105db
No worries, we had 8 of us in total for the crew plus 6 drivers and various other people doing the cooking etc lol! we got through 5 maybe 6 I think if you included Friday.
They snapped as we turned in to the garage... we thought something had collapsed to be then confronted with the wheel coming off, guess TGM can't charge an hour to change a hub now lol..
Dubai is actually on the cards :)
