Did I get to meet you lol? I met so many people across the weekend.. The one who is the mtb mechanic is Phil, very close friend of mine got me involved with the team. I was in the blue overalls... the lanky one is James.
I heard similar things about chris aswell lol! ... especially from old...
Sounds like you had an absolute mare! We had all the studs snap on the front nearside hub! But the wheel fell off in the pit lane! But we changed that in under 15 min and that was our only disaster.
The boys at welch had a nightmare with their Leon, they are local to us and where gutted to get...
we finished 11th overall and 5th in class which was great considering the power of the car. We got a polite telling off on friday added a bung and after that we where fine for sound, but I know alot of teams got messed around or black flagged and disqualified. It was all abit of a joke with...
Thanks :) All the shots have had very little editing, the sky in first shots was like that when I shot them. All I did in the PP was the levels and some noise reduction.
I Spent the weekend helping Team TGMsport at Silverstone this weekend. I was on the spanners and then refuelling during pitstops Its safe to say I am knackered, I thought I would share my pictures from the weekend. Our car (civic FD2) was reliable as ever we had an issue with a front hub early...
Nice shots I will post mine up later! I was fuel man for the FD2 this year had loads of fun! We finished 11th and 5th class. Great fun but I am still shattered :(
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
Bit of an update -
I have had some what short of a night mare the last few days and its finally at a stage where its ready to go tomorrow -
Over the past two days I got the pugsport system on, not overly happy with the fit. But its on and working.

Re: My new project - 106 GTI
Cheers guys! Well good news I cleaned up a few of the sensors tonight and the car drove perfectly fine *touch wood*
Went to do the wheel bearing tonight and decided to do the hub nut up before I stripped it all down and it was loose.... :@ So sorted that with...
Oh! I am hoping its not the fuel pump because of the cost but it wouldn't surprise me! Have you got a genuine one fitted or aftermarket?
Looks like I am going to have a fun week... I need mine ready to drive to silverstone this weekend as I am working at britcar.
Looks awesome! I wanted a rallye but for the price I paid for my Gti I couldn't say no.
Did your running problems ever return, mine is cutting out and idle is lumpy. It seems to misfire mid revs, I am wondering after reading your thread if its a fuel pump issue as the guy who I bought it off...
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
I don't mind the tinny raspy note, I had a similar setup to the pugsport on my st. I will get one ordered if I dont like it will sell it on.
Have any of you had issues with them misfiring ? Mine is doing it mid rev range at times and cutting out every so often :s...
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
The cyclones are 15" so they clear the front brakes I am looking at getting shot of them soon and getting some 205 wheels or something similar.
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
All the vids online make it sound like it drones more than the pugsport one. I will have a think anyway, I need to get one ASAP the current one is a right lash up.
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
I am gonna get the 2" pugsport I think, love the look of them.
I plan on getting the bilstein front damper inserts, the rears are fully adjustable already so I just think they need some tweaking.
Re: My new project - 106 GTI
Cheers guys! I can't wait to get the little issues sorted and get it on the road, I will give you a shout one day mark.
I can't decide between the pugsport system and the kam racing one :s
Well After selling my Fiesta ST back in February this year, I bought myself a 55 plate ford focus to poodle about in with intentions of moving out... Yea about that! It never happened which left me driving a gramps wagon that I hated (lifeless steering, very slow, crap on fuel etc etc)
So I set...
