The Nikon lenses have the benefit of the aperture ring. With Canon, you have to set the aperture then remove the lens with the camera still on.
It is a crop and the 10-20 will work perfectly on it.
The 15-85 gets very good reviews from what I have read. If you fancy getting a different lens, you could also get it with the kit lens and sell it off for a profit, if the price works out well. I did the same with my 5DII and 24-105 and the...
Oooo, a 1DmkIII. Camera p**n. :D
The screen on the 40D was one of the big negatives for me. You zoom in for a 100% view and get a blurred image on the screen. that said, after seeing the quality of the images from my 5DII, I think that there may have been something wrong with the 40!
The...
Nice. I had a play with a mates a couple of weeks back and decided I now want to get the 70-200 over the 100-400.
I was saving up for the 2.8 IS, but having seen the reviews over on POTN, I now have a bit further to go for the II. Sounds like an amazing lens.
Do you still have the 300 2.8?
New lens? Which version is that?
I had a crumpler pouch for my old 70-200 but only used it when I didn't have a camera bag that fitted the thing. I can imagine it being pretty usefull for you though.
I think you'd probably get a bite for anywhere between 100-150. Nobody wants them any more.
It's also important to know how many shots it has taken. 350D is only good for 50,000 shots.
Audio jack from iPhone into the mic input of a pc. There are no apps that can record, just services which route the call through their servers (at a cost) AFAIK.
Are they yours or were you having a go in somebody elses studio? I'd love to have a set of strobes to play with, I quite fancy trying some studio work at some point.
Nice shots BTW!
Some of the later models of the 3gs had to be plugged into a PC after rebooting them. You then had to run Blackrain to get them to start up again. This is called Tethered. The early models didn't have the problem.
Some interesting technology on there. I was also looking at getting a small PAS for keeping in my pocket. I used to use my N86 which has usable images when needed but the iPhone photo quality is shocking.
I had a look at the full size versions on Flickr, when you look at the shots at 100%, you...
Mine has a low setting which equates to 50. Never used it or felt the need to, but I'm regularly shooting at 3200-6400. Perhaps when I win the lottery and fill my bag with f1.2 glass...
It is only 1 stop difference though, so in reality you'd still need a ND filter.
I read it all, didn't understand your viewpoint but posted anyway. It's going around in circles so we'll agree to disagree. :)
Welcome. It's a nice looking car.
He offered to take the wheels back if you weren't happy. Should have been the end of the story there. You didn't need to post it all up here if the deal was done and dusted with an agreement reached.
Looks tidy BTW.
Geohot has posted today that he has an untethered jailbreak for all current phones and firmware. Whether that is true or not, whether it actually works and when it will be released is yet to be seen.
If you clicked on "Make my life easy" in Cydia and saved your SHSH to their server, then you can go back.
If you don't know whether you did, then you'll probably just have to try it. If it doesn't work, then you didn't save you SHSH.
Guide here.
