On the rare occasion i've let someone else drive my car i've been shocked by how high the passenger seat is, it feel like i'm at a family dinner and Nan's had to break out the emergency chairs and i've got the bar stool, you could get a bloody nose bleed from altitude sickness, whoever signed...
I found that binning the spacers and carpet under the runners lowered the seat enough to make me feel like I was sitting in the car rather than on it, but no cutting the carpet away will only give you an extra 5mm at best, if you want to get race car low then new seats is the only way.
The only other thing you can do is cut the carpet away under the runners, I know most people don't like to do this as you're essentially ruining the resale value of the car, but seeing as i'll never get rid of mine I cut it away, you can't get them any lower than that.
I can't see the yanks wanting to buy that, in my mind V6's are Golf R32's, 4Motions and mid engined Clio's, not what i'd associate with high end supercars.
Mental! I just couldn't ride a bike on public roads, too many f*ckwits that can end your life, although I saw an interview with one of the TT front runners and he said he doesn't even have a bike licence, I guess 200+ on the IOM is f*ck all to him, but riding in traffic is just too dangerous.
Yeah I heard that, plus it means they have one less bike to setup, the maddest thing I learnt from the TT coverage this year is the bikes have anti-whellie traction control, didn't knows bikes had that at all, I thought you just had your wrist and if you flipped over backwards it was your own fault.
