That's exactly what i'm on about, I can adjust the seat fine but when I want to get the dog in the back I have to lean right in and get my shoulder behind it, still that small amount of inconvenience is well worth it to fell like i'm sitting in the car rather than on it.
Only problem with removing the spacers is the seats won't slide anymore, I had to cut the carpet away from under the runners in order to move the seats back and forth, even then one of the cables under the inside runner makes it tricky.
Shame they're made of tin foil, I shunted a Volvo at the lights in mine at no more than 5mph, he had one small scratch on his bumper which he went ballistic about, I had two smashed headlights and and bent bonnet, i'd hate to think what would happen if you had a real accident in one, they'd...
BAM!!

OSF CV Boot insecure (jubilee clip should sort that)
NSF Ball Joint...

The coolant bottles themselves are prone to cracking in their old age so check the fire wall insulation for dampness as it could be trickling down the material and dripping on the floor, which wouldn't be apparent with a visual check, look on the bright side at least it's not an oil leak, they...
As long as it lifts the car up high enough to get under it without it collapsing on you it'll be fine, if you can't find the leak tomorrow morning take some spare coolant with you to top it off before you set off, then again before you head home, as long as the coolant level doesn't drop below...
