Useful guide - I have linked it a few time from here - http://www.alcantara.com/en/experience/manutenzione/manutenzione.shtml
Also is a PDF to download of it.
Same products/process as you would use on on your Clio paint is fine.
Depending on the colour of the old car paint it may be single stage so be prepared for some paint transfer on pads and cloths.
I have both to be honest, the PO85RD 3.02 produces a better finish if you have the time, If I am pushed for time I use the PO91L.
Either way you can't go wrong, if I had to choose one I would go for the PO85RD 3.02.
You will do more passes, but once you get used to how little you need you...
PO85RD 3.02 was developed for Ceramiclear such as those found on Mercs etc where the clearcoat is hard, is more lubricated and has a much longer work time - can take ages to brake down by PC, you use very little but will take lots of passes.
As said has slightly more cut, leaves a good finish...
Nice work - Keeping the finish swirl free after is the nightmare - take your time over washing and maybe look into a water filter so you don't have to dry.
Mine was one of the first in the country too, does not sound the same as it used to but I believe they are serviceable , a mate gets Porter Cable parts for his machines that he uses in the building trade from the states.
Spent another hour on the car again this morning, just on the rear...
Off the shelf if the AG is not cutting it, Wonder Wheels is the next step up.
I am having the same trouble with the wheels on the GTi, getting some trade range Autoglym Wheel Cleaner to try.
I will do it for a bag of Cola Bottles ...
