I have a CPL for my 70-200 F4 L but have never felt the need to use it. I thought that it would only be beneficial when trying to take pics of fish in water or through windows (not being a keen fish spotter or peeping tom, I dont do either)...... are they of much more use than that?

For the 400D the EF-S 60mm lens is probably a good one to go for. Gets good reviews and doesn't cost too much either. There is a bargain on e-bay to be had too.

Just the luck of the draw... I was using a baby bottle for the drips and tried different heights.... the crowns were mostly when the drips came from higher and also after several were dropped and the water was "rough" from the previous drips. I must have had a couple of hundred blank glass...

Have you ever driven around Zaandvoort? There are some pretty good rates at 20 Euros per 20 minute session. Was seriously looking at doing one soon but my tyres are getting low anyway and I dont want to shell out for new ones just yet.

I've got the same mouse..... it took a while to get used to the new turbo speed but it is better for gaming.

There might be something in the BIOS screen but I doubt it. If you are going to overclock the CPU to get substantial gains from it, it will probably need an after market cooler too. The standard ones cannot get enough heat off it. You can kill a PC fairly quickly if it gets too hot...

Not all PCs can be. Dell etc lock their bios settings and they cannot be clocked. If you have built your PC, then you can probably overclock it. What processer/ motherboard/ cooling etc have you got?

I think it might be installed as standard.... it was in the image that I put on my PC so could not say for sure.

Microsoft office software can do it fairly well. "Microsoft Office Document Imaging" is the application name in the office tools section.

I think that when you first activate it, your PC specs are recorded to the version... if they deviate by more than 3 out of ten hardware items then the PC is considered new and the licence is no longer valid. Disclaimer: I may be spouting utter shite but am sure that I read this somewhere.
