the Canon EFS 60mm gets great reviews and is not even expensive.
I am going to be buying a 40D and 24-105 L this week hopefully. Are you happy with yours?
Makes me want a longer lens too. I was toying with the idea of chopping in the 70-200 for a 100-400 but that on top of everything else would probably get me a divorce. :)
Well, I just sold my 350 today which means I wont be able to take part in this one.... ehem. ;)
There are some nice shots in here though, people had more inspiration than I managed!
It is supposed to fix the 4GB of ram issue (motherboard dependant) which will be nice. As Vista uses so much of the stuff, it would make sense that you can use more than the bare minimum
You can try calling some of the larger board shops to see who has one in stock, the usual places that I use have all sold out.

It is a pretty large bag, but if you have several lenses and a tripod to carry, it might as well be!
Sorted this through my wifes work now instead. I make their company a website, and in return, I get to put my camera and lens through them to get the VAT back. 40D here I come. :D
I can also recommend the Burton Zoom backpack.
Burton are a snowboarding company so the pack is made to be waterproof and protect your camera. The pack is designed to strap a board or skis onto but it is also perfect for a tripod.
The best bit about it is that it does not look like...
It is also more cash though. I was also looking at getting a 40D as the resale prices on the 350D are going to take a hammering after the 450D is out.
Try them all and see which one feels best and you can get on with.
Was looking at the same place. I have to get it sent to my folks in the UK then they send it over to me in NL to avoid paying Tax though. The Dutch customs are cracking down on imported stuff from Hong Kong apparently.
It will still work out loads cheaper than buying it here.
I always thought that it was when you had 1 litre left in the tank... or gallon in the UK?
It calculates using those units so when you drop below, it cant work out how much further you can go.
I was in a rental Zafira once and got it down to 5km's trying to find a petrol station to fill...
"Office Picture Manager" is in the "MS Office Tools" sub menu.
Select the images that you want to resize, click the edit button and use the resize option.
You can also use the export function which will rename them and place them in a different folder if you want to keep the originals full size.
Interesting idea! A new topic each week? I am sure there are plenty of ideas which will come in once people start getting into this. It is always nice to have a critical eye cast over your pics too.
