They reset when you turn the ignition off and back on again, so yes, you will need to reset the switch.
If it stops raining and dries up, then starts raining again, the wipers will come back on automatically provided you have not turned the ignition off.
It's normal, think it says this in...
Shame on Tom20v for starting this one! - talk about red rag to a bull!
I would love to own both if I could justify the extra cost. I got rid of my valver because I was starting a new job and wanted something a bit newer to munch up the miles and love the Renault Sports. I find the 182 much...
Must've been full fat for that price. You always pay a bit more if you go through a trader too because that's how they make their money.
.....either way I reckon it'll be sat there for a while with that price-tag on it.
I always assumed that the AC was on unless I turned it off manually, but in the cold this morning everytime I pressed 'Auto' the AC would switch OFF. Had the car less that 2months so not really sure how it operates in the winter yet.
Yeah I would be a bit worried about drilling into the struts, if that indeed is how they're fixed on. Couldn't that caused premature rusting in a very structural position?
Love the Superleggaras though. I'm seriously considering getting a set in anthracite. Awesome wheels.
Lets put this in perspective, lose the spoiler and put the original wheels (or better) back on and theres not a lot wrong with it. Loads of people fall into the "induction kit" trap and some, even when aware of the power losses, probably don't care because they love the induction sound. It's...
I reckon there's gotta be more than 100, but I'd be interested to know how many there are in GB.
I'm dead chuffed with mine, I specifically looked for one in Inferno because I thought it looked a bit more special and I don't regret the search!
The wheel nuts seem fine, wouldn't know what else to check. Only done 6.5k miles so a bit strange that it should have gone. It's just a complete pain in the arse for me to get it into the garage!
Just noticed a speed-dependent humming noise coming from the front left of my car when I was driving home tonight. Checked it and there appears to be a little bit of play when you grab hold and shake the wheel.
Will I be damaging anything else if it with a wheel bearing gone? No other way of...
If I were you I'd spend it on engine mods. One of the best things about the 182 is how it handles out of the box (for road use), so unless you're planning to track it I'd personally say it's not worth it.
I'd consult someone like BenR and see what he can do for a grand, or as someone said get...
I was wondering how much it would be to replace a 182 windscreen with the rain sensors. Had a couple of stone flicked up recently but luckily only caused tiny chips out of line of sight.
Should be 1 bar at 1000rpm, and rise to about 3 bar at 3500rpm. Mine seemed to achieve this even when hot, and more when the oil had just been changed for some reason.
**not sure how accurate the guages are though. Does yours rise at all when you get above 3.5k rpm?
You wont properly bed in an engine until you have thrown a variety of engine speeds and loads at it so, as long as its warmed up, I wouldnt worry about pussy footing around!
Enjoy, and feel it loosen up!
Perfectly normal after a cold-start. I think its more to do with cold-start emissions control than protecting the engine but from what Ive heard most 172/182s are the same.
Soz, but was just halfway through cleaning my car and the sunset kissed the wing. Had to post another link.....

If youre in a position to get a Trophy then do it, you should lose less money on the residuals too because of the limited run.
As Paul J says, the Recaros are far superior, and although its nice for the overall look of the car to have nice rear seats I spend approximately 0% of the time...
The wax is fine to protect the paintwork and give a good shine but if you have any minor scratches, swirls or slightly faded paint you might want to give it a polish before applying the wax.
It depends how far you want to go. You dont NEED any of it, in fact the majority of car owners...
Looks like they are relatively rare. I love the goldie pearl effect you get in sunshine. Mint!

Definitely do it. Not sure how much your car is worth but you cant be that far off the mark?
Also, presumably youre not paying nothing for insurance now, so you shouldnt really count it as an extra 1.1K.
Get a Williams and be a winner! You should lose less money in depreciation with the...
The other week I saw a kitted Peugeot 207 sprayed in a very similar colour to Inferno with the Sport badge from a Renault Sport stuck on the back. He should have just bought the real McCoy in the first place!
Kitted cars arent my thing but that looks tidy. Seeing as you asked though, Ive never been a fan of those wheels even when they were new, and now theyre looking dated to boot. Change em!!
