So i have a slight plan of action for the twin-go-slow. a few areas need sorting for me, the suspension and wheels (so coilovers needed) brakes (either 285mm txi brakes or some sort of hub swap for 172 items) and the engine.... fmic, proper downpipe, air filter, bigger injectors, bigger fuel...

slap the above on with a set if clio 172 injectors and you will see circa 140bhp. Intercooler will need to be custom thrown together as there arnt any off the shelf kits. Protoxide in Italy are about the only people who make a decat pipe, any exhaust place can knock up a cat back though.

Yep gt is a factory turbo car, revs are circa 3500rpm for 70mph its a little stung out but a diesel 5th gear can be swapped in, i uses mine 50 miles a day mainly on the motorway, best ive seen from a tank is 53mpg (y) standard seats are s**t and like sitting on a park bench ?

ha, nah I'm cheap, I only replace when I get the miles out them. old t1rs had life so stayed on the back and put the newer tr1 on the front ? deadly in the morning on a damp greasy track mind.....
It felt a bit lacking on the straights but it is only a 1149cc. Few bits just bolt ons, air filter, returned fuel system, 172 injectors, decat and exhaust. Mapped by Chris at efiparts. soft wolowy AP coilovers and pug brakes on 172 disks. All on road brake pads and tires.
both are a little more sore today and probably will be for a few days/weeks but both are alive and walking around (best 90s robot impressions) and more importantly alive to tell the tale*
