When I ordered the 182 in Dec they said I could have it late Jan and I declined for the same reasons. Mine must have sat in the docks or something as it only got to the dealers a few days before March 1st.
Not sure ! I tend to use it as it gives no reason for the wax not to bond if the FF doe leave any oils etc behind. It is a nice product to have on the shelf when you want to clean up paintwork without polishing.

Most of the look is in the prep, so can understand what you are seeing. Normally I follow up the FF with some Swissvax Cleaner Fluid to ensure it bonds as well as it can before adding the way.
It is very strong and acid based first time I used it on my old 309 GTi on Graphite wheels that had been polished top a high gloss after one use the finish was flat as hell, they went from being deep graphite to a wishy washy grey.

The wax is the last step in process, the biggest changes looks wise with mine has always been down to the polishing. Get it polished nicely with a decent finish polish such as Menzerna Final Finish and the looks the wax adds will be minimal.

Probably over kill - even the most un-durable waxes should give you a couple of weeks protection. No harm in it though, I used to be the same !

The higher end waxes don't seem to add much looks wise over the Onyx to be fair, my BOS, Mystery and even Zymol Destiny add very little looks wise that the Onyx can't - there durability should though be there strong point over it. I am tempted to Mystery the daily hack just as a test lol !
