I used to use triple R and my engine sounded a bit noisy and the dephaser got a tad louder, switched to elf evolution 5w40 and engine sounds much better. For some people the triple r is fine, but for me it wasn't.

Rough price would be 50 to unlock it to your car, then another 50 to put it back on their car and then about 5 for the map. Then whatever they want to charge for doing it.

Hmm don't think I've got the oil receipts actually but will do from now on lol. I will keep receipts for major things. Got 2 keys, all the original stuff from the boot and leather wallet. Hopefully the car will still be mint in 2 years or so and I'll have a few more receipts etc

i use a meguires drying towel from halfords, its probably the best invertments ive made in terms of getting a good finish.

The spring loaded bolts are there to allow a certain amount of flex when the engine moves with revs. Having them fixed with nuts and bolts may strain parts of the manifold. And yes, as the gadget wears the springs will become at little less tense while still ensuring a good seal. Never done it...
