Got a supersport janspeed, no center silencer.
No it's not too loud, nowhere near as loud as some other.
If you choose the sport with the center section I imagine it will be almost like standard
That's the sort of sales pitch I use for selling insurance at work ha, break it down into days.
But yeh I'm never going to buy cheap oil again. Hopefully my dephaser has got many more happy miles left in it
I used to use triple R and my engine sounded a bit noisy and the dephaser got a tad louder, switched to elf evolution 5w40 and engine sounds much better.
For some people the triple r is fine, but for me it wasn't.
Been eyeing up these 6k hids http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/hid-xenon-bulbs/d2s-hid-xenon-replacement-bulbs-p-447.html
Are they any good. It says they come as a pair. Do I really only need to spend 20 quid to change my 182 from stock xenons to 6000k's ?
Rough price would be 50 to unlock it to your car, then another 50 to put it back on their car and then about 5 for the map. Then whatever they want to charge for doing it.
Hmm don't think I've got the oil receipts actually but will do from now on lol. I will keep receipts for major things. Got 2 keys, all the original stuff from the boot and leather wallet.
Hopefully the car will still be mint in 2 years or so and I'll have a few more receipts etc
Just wondering how much this affects the value of the car to a trained eye.
My car only had 3 service stamps from new when I bought it, but the previous owner had got reciepts for oil changes and also a cambelt change from a reputable garage along with another oil change. So for me on te...
Yeh thought about that too, but if you go up te othe way towards like bakewell there loads more spots at the top of the mountains if you like lol, and get get some decent shots
lol ano i keep thinking the same as the back garden drive shots are getting incredibly boring now lol.
i was thinking of trecking upto derbyshire to get some as soon as we get some nice weather and the nights are getting longer but most nights im not home from work till 7 so its a bit...

ah right ill be pickin her up from station at about 4 i think.
ill be home from work tomorow at 6 though if you fancied meeting up at say chapeltown somewhere to have a quick look before it gets dark lol.
yeh im thinking of doing that to the bullets as mine are going a bit moudly lol. I think black would be too much though so im going to go for silver with black 2.0 16v. Those lights will be first tho as they do look pretty decent. off to halfords next thursday when i get paid lol.
Erm tonight...
Just had a look in clio media, does look alot better with them on. can they be picked up in halfrauds?

. mez, kimberworth mate, bout you?
was in halfords the other day picking up some new car shampoo and some megs tyre endurance tyre shine aqnd noticed it was 3 for 2 so i picked up a bottle of meg Carnauba wax as im bored of the finish that extra gloss protection gives me.
Is it really that bad? Im going to give it a try...
The spring loaded bolts are there to allow a certain amount of flex when the engine moves with revs. Having them fixed with nuts and bolts may strain parts of the manifold. And yes, as the gadget wears the springs will become at little less tense while still ensuring a good seal.
Never done it...
just been thinking and remember my old 1.2 ph1 mk2 suffered really badly from the rear arches rusting really bad.
it makes me sad to think that my 182 will get like that in a few years if i keep it, is there anything i can do to prevent the arches bubbling up ?
i regularly wash and wax my...
the ultra performance is a 2.5" bore wheras the other is a 2.25". at a guess the 2.5" one may be better for if you decide to take modding the car to the next level ie cams, boddies and would help improve breathing, but tbh i know nothing about exhausts and breathing.
ive got the 2.25 with no...
The only lambda sensor which may affect fueling is in the manifold, the other is at the end of the cat but doesn't affect fueling it just reads what it sees.
Is it missing at Tickover? If so then disconnect each lead one by one And it should sound worse each time u remove one. If you remove...
120 for all 4, the finish on them up close is amazing aswel as the front one were curbed to hell and now there like new. rbw limited in rotherham is where i got em done
tyre shine will be on in a few days, got to get a few nights out over though yet lol.
i know, that will be my preference when i move + big garage not full of dads motorbike lol.
Hmm, not seen one on a black but seen one on an arctic and it does look nice.
lol not that simple, all sorts of funny angles because the street is a hill lol.
im thinking a carbon splitter would compliment it nicely aswel but not sure if i can justify 120 quid for splitter lol.
I got my wheels refurbed the other day as the standard anthracite was dying and crumbling.
i got them done in a gun metal, slightly darker than standard anthra but i didnt want black.
the pics do it no justice it looks good in person.
i know i know, i need tyre gell big time, thats next...
Wernt sure where to put this but just though I'd share my views from my experience.
I've changed my oil every 5k with carlube triple r 5 40 and I've been getting a grating noisy dephaser sound when warm and cold.
So this service time I went for some elf evolution sxr 5 40 and no dephaser...
Yes it maybe a campus sport but it's still a halfords sport badge, the only Clio with a sport badge on the boot is a proper 2.0 sport
So.. Loose the badge.
Nice car though mate
