Yeh it all sorted now went back down after I'd corrected the level and he passed it for me.
Yeh I understand that they should auto level depending on load but does nobody know what the nob is for by the cc button ? On my old 1.2 this adjusted the level of the lights but it doesn't appear to do...
Ano that's wat I thought lol.
Ohright, so how can I test if the auto is actually working now I've alligned them properly?
Also can anybody shed any light on the nob next to cc button? I took the panel off and it does appeared to be wired up so must Do something lol
Yeh Ano I thought that but he said he didn't have the tool lol.
Any reasons why they wouldn't be auto adjusting?
Also what is the nob for next to the cc switch if they are automatic?
So just failed mot because my nearside headlight is sky high.
The control on the dash next to the cruise control switch doesnt seem to work on either side which says both motors are nackered possibly?
Is there a way to manually adjust the xenons?
I just called Renault to get some new fuel rail guard bolts and the guy didn't seem too convinced on the parts he ordered which he said were a pound each.
Does anybody know the part numbers for em? Mine snapped somehow undoing the nuts when I was taking the fuel rail guard off.
It's the 2...
I didn't notice any difference what so ever removing mine weather it be volume or the car vibrating.
It's only a valve, there's no reason removing it from the air Intake system would make the car vibrate
Re: help with fitting k&n induction kit to clio mk2 phase 2 1.2.. is this the right o
im sure it wont be at all noticable on a 1.2, i had one on my old phase 1 1.2 and it sounded good, made no difference whatsoever to performance though
If you want noise just buy a cone filter and place it where its designed to be. Itl be loud. Messing about with all he piping is a waste of time, your not going to gain any performance either way.
no disrespect to jms as i know they are a great garage but the graphs which they produced saying that their ik gives a 10bhp increase in power from a standard engine were a bit unbelievable tbh and the graphs have since been removed since real rr results have shown there is nowhere near a 10bhp...
U checking it on a cold engine? The level will be lower on a hot engine as the oil will be up in the top end And not in the sump.
A cool reading will be higher as the oil will be settled in the sump
the ktec system comes with a reducer sleeve to fit onto the standard cat so yes.
however why dont you just get the sleeved decat designed for the 2.25" ktec system? its much better as it slots into the center section meaning no more crappy olive joint blowing...
Yes and yes lol. Google luck. If that doesn't solve it get it on some diagnostics by somebody who knows that they are looking for, not just reading off fault codes
+2 . i borrowed some just incase but soon realised they werent needed.
ive never done springs before and apart from having a nightmare getting the top mount nut off it took me about an hour. Would have been alot less if my mate with the air gun came sooner to buz the nuts off lol.
Fair enough lol. I'll give em a ring tomorow. Are the 2 sides the same or do I need to order an offside one?
Anyone know about taking the wheel off lol?
