driveshaft or cv joints (could be inner or outer) best go to a garage for an inspection. Also, have a look for split gaitors behind your front wheels. if they are split the grease will have spun out and the joint would have been running dry.

the sat nav needs to download maps for your location and stores local maps in cache memory on the phone. I agree its not the most user friendly application in the world, but i find it works well. tom tom software will work, but you wont find it for free.
