i think i have the same kit. lol. The only product im dissapointed with is the shampoo. it doesnt foam up enough and it take a good scrub to get grime off if i havent washed it for a couple of weeks.
in general, stick the all the cleaning/detail products from the same brand where possible. makes things easier during application etc, and you know what type of finish to expect.
i stick to AG as well. the Super Resin Polish brought out my mk2ph2 (silver) a treat.
throttle body is fine, that was the first place i looked.
new plugs it is then. i dont have a service book, so i dont know when they should be changed. but they are not expensive.
never knew that it controlled the idle, i thought it had an icv.
My idle seems to be slightly rough lately. it usually stays between 500 and 750 rpm, when idling after its warmed up.
when i throttle it to 1000rpm for example, it's nice and smooth.
Do you recon new sparks would be the best bet, (originals are still fitted, mk2ph2 2002 45k miles)
or...
all ph2 (and ph1 i think) have a very high bite point on the clutch.
my previous fiesta had a light and sensible clutch, when moving onto the clio, it was the only thing that disapointed me. But you get used to it.
