I've done that thing where it makes the internet font go bigger. Think its like ctrl and spin the mouse wheel or something, problem is, it's on a laptop so I don't know how I've done it and I can't work out how to sort it! It's driving me loopy, my laptop thinks I've got cataracts!

Give the grill a miss, get the 197 one? IMO it's looking good at the min. Don't be going over the top with it. I think a plate with standard font on the rear would look good and a standard font 3/4 size one on the front.

Yeah won't need sanding to metal at all. You'd be fine keying up the current finish and spraying on that. Could prime it if you really want.
