depends on how they test drove it, if they drove it slowly then they won't hear your knocking, so won't change it, their are lots of threads about loosenign the engine mounts and pulling the engine foward with something whilst tightening the engine mounts back up so engine is pulled towards...

have a look underneath, and if u can see where it rubs you can most likely bend the shield back some more, as it is angled quite tight aroudn the exhaust, and you can bend it away from the exhaust to make lots of room for it to move around. maybe check the exhasut rubber mounts whilst u are...

maybe a loose wire on the sensor, put some tape around it and wiggle it and stuff

if its an aftermarket exhaust, then it will probably bang around if it aint been fitted right. an explanation of the noise / problem would help, instead of saying you wanted the engine mounts changed and they ddn't change them, why did u want them changed >?
