after looking around under the seats, their is some sensors screwed on to the inside, side seals of the car, look under the seat at the door sill, and you will see, i don't know if these break or something after side impacts, cos i changed my seats before my side impact i never had my seats...
i had some one do that to my cup, there is definately a loose connection somewhere cos them lights come on mine when i do long left hand turns. so we have the same sort of problem. luckily mine isn't on all the time, just on this 1 bend i go around occasionally.

mmm, ok ta - rear discs havne't been changed yet done 70k on them, so didn't know if its worth spengin the money on good rear brakes or any old rear discs
if you put performance brakes (discs & pads) on your car, should you do both the front and rear, to make them match ? as if you had really good brakes on the front and crummy brakes on the back wouldn't the car not be as stable when braking ? :S :S
depends what you mean by 197, you mean the new clio shape or the performance ?
I don't like the shape, i think it will be a stop game like the original 172, that only had its shape for 1 year then renault changed it. i think that will happen to the new clio

mmm, thanks fred, i will go buy some resistors today and try them, see if the lights go off, if then do an elimination process of location the faulty wire, was thinking it could be the wire that pushes down into the pretensioner, i'll ty bending the pins a bit

ok, i changed my cup seats a few years ago for leather one, never wired them up, now i have put some recaros in, with the old pre-tensioners, so i have just wired up the wires as normal, but serv and airbag symbol won't go away !!, does it need to reset - like after driving for 30 mins...
