    Where the windscreen wipers are there the cover remove the covers and the unit got a load of wires to it on the drivers side do a search and a pick of the bit will come up. If you've done a engine swop etc you shouyld have chnage the whole fan unit.

    175Nm it should be from memory. SHopuld always have a torque wrech and the nu should always be repaced or locking compound used it you don't have a spare.

    I did a post explaian the wiring chnages which need to be amde plus you nee Renault dealrship etc to use the clio to turn the option on in the UCH. None UK spec cars often have it on both sides as standard UK cars only get it on the drivers side.

    I'd always rate the H and R over the setup you have now but each to there own. Fk's are another option there a bit hard but a lot cheaper.

    Spax = rubish Ohlins supposed to be superb never had any experiance I didn't think they did any Clio stuff there other stuff does have a good reputation though. Personaly if you don't use it on track and arn't making it a pure track car H and R would be better suited.

    If you want a cheap second car don't get a hot hatch buy a 1.9 D CLio or 1.5 corsa diesel can pick them up undamaged for pennies I've seen ones with damaged bumpers for £150 as there write offs.

    No stick with stock the 172 full fat front springs are the same part number so buy some of ebay etc form people who "upgrade" stock the best setup.

    979kg or so for the Cup emply weight officially 1060kg emply for the 197 race car. Not a huge difference realy. That gearbox helps masivly as well hence why they use it to make it a quicker car. They weren't going for it. You have at accep a 197 weight ok as above about 100kg more say...
