    Jenic's Inferno 182 - Yes, another one!

Cheers, I like the brake ducts. Although utterly pointless for my use it's something a little different and they are fitted so well. Can't decide on 15" or 16", probably 16" as I think coilovers are required to pull off 15's really. As for the bolts, they are 100% worth it, had them on my...

    Jenic's Inferno 182 - Yes, another one!

You do! I'm the last of the TOPO gang with a clio, everyone else grew up :( Found out why my cruise buttons were cut up, inferno the previous owner hid them behind his aftermarket wheel. Anyway, fitted new covers to the buttons and it looks a lot neater now :) I also...

So this 172 has popped up local to me...

If it's going to walk through the MOT why doesn't he put it through? By the time you MOT it and belts/dephaser you're knocking on £2k, maybe more depending on how much belts cost you up there. I'd pass on that, nothing special and up in Scotland there always seems to be bargains about so just...

Extremely Slow Leak From Water Pump

It'll get worse, I had this problem and one day while out it just went and it wouldn't hold water at all. Was the full aux kit changed? If not I'd get the lot done. Think I paid about £200 for the aux belt kit fitted at Birchdown, then maybe another £40 for the pump.

    Respray by me

Looks good. I'd stick an original silver front diamond on and it would look a lot better imo.

What have you done to your car today ???

Today I fitted a CS tax disc holder and a set of silver visions. One of the bulbs popped on the first try so had to put an orange one back in until I get a replacement :( I also got my oil delivered from opie and my sump plug washer from ECP (£1.60 couriered to my door, they must have made a...

    bit of a pain

This. The driveaway insurance is a joke tbh. When I had it the literature the dealers have mention no details about age restrictions, the dealers know nothing of restrictions and when you call to activate it they don't realise you're too young until they have asked all the million and one...

    budget tyres

I had GSD3's on my 182. Brilliant tyres grip wise and they lasted a long time. I believe they are now officially discontinued though. Currently less than £80 plus £10 cash back which should cover fitting -...

Brentacre? Sky customer service seems a bit hit and miss ime, maybe pm sky on here (think ollie is the guys name) and explain the situation and see what he can suggest. I know they were willing to consider me as 21 when my renewal was due just a few days before my birthday but I had to pm...

    Fitting aftermarket steering wheel

Yeh, just solder onto the wire. Then tape up to stop it shorting, or for a neater finish put some heat shrink on before soldering.

    Cruise not working

I'd say a wiring fault between the airbag ring and the buttons somewhere. Or maybe a faulty brake or clutch switch, although I'm not sure if it would light up the dash if this was the case, someone else would have to confirm.

    Jenic's Inferno 182 - Yes, another one!

I'm not fussed mate, the car is so good everywhere else I don't mind a couple of little cheap fix's. The rev counter only does it when the lights have been on a good while (a couple of hours) so you probably wouldn't have ever noticed, it probably just needs resoldering. I only spent £2 on the...

    Jenic's Inferno 182 - Yes, another one!

It wasn't a shed, just needed a bit of money spending on it and I preferred this. Infact, except a couple of scuffs on the bumpers the bodywork was in pretty good shape.

You sort of answered your own question there, it's in superb condition and the cup wasn't. Nope, don't think I've ever said that. Used to love eikoorb's when he had it and we used to go out taking pictures :o

    Jenic's Inferno 182 - Yes, another one!

Haha, I don't think I'll ever not have a little Mk2 clio of some sort tbh. Love them, so much fun that a lot of other more expensive cars just cannot replicate even if they are technically superior. Spec wise yes, but not colour wise. No more worrying about waking up to an ever more pink car...
