As per the above posts check/change the coolent temp sensor. They fail and there wiring fails a lot.

Just cut the cable on the wiring loom.

The shcokser if its leaking is covered under wear and tear for definate take the matter up with Renault UK or go to another dealership and make Renault UK aware of the issue. If the dampers just gone sort them its a bit more difficult but if its obviousl its covered under the sale of goods act...

No need for uprated shock stock shocks just won't last as long and I don't rate any of the uprated damper kits out there. Personaly coilovers FK for £420 minimum or forget it its just not worth just springs alone.

You need the whole unit. Its as you'll have seen easy to chnage.

The recomended oil is whatever is requiered down to temps etc. 10-40 is a fine oil to use just like 5-40 in the UK climate go live in the UAE and its thcker norway its 0-30 for the lower temps they get. The manauls wrong realy the recomended oil doens't exist it what is suitable.
