If you'r mates not done a 172/182 one then forget it get a garage who know what there doing to do it.
I've got a cambelt chnage guide if tyou want but remember a lot of engines have been ruined by "good" garages having done the belts and unknowingly making mistakes.
Best mods are the intake manifold to be reworked £170 then an induction kit of some type and a remap realy.

No cat issues on a DCI.
BIgger injectors well forget it there custom stuff so £1k there maybe or the 100 setup which need the new pump and cambelt as well doing and for the gains not realy worth it.
DCI 100 intercooler is the better cooler but unless your running extreme windows and maps...
IMO get it fixed ASAP forget driving it round if you drive it round and its a stuck drum them you'll need new shoes plus idealy bled lines maybe new rear drum. Stupid IMo to keep driving it.
Give me a call if you want you cna pop round some time.
COuld be any number of things wheels bearings being faulty isn't helping but chek your anti roll bars at the front are connected not damaged
I do them to 95~100NM the official values are in this thread

Well there linbked somewhere in that thread I forget where might be the suspension setup one.
Err FF referes to a normal 172 its infact higher than a Cup on figures (assuming tolerances are ignored) its not lower though.
As said the FF are normal ride height the 172 Cup which has a lower spec no ABS and those wheels you've got plus slightly different suspension no zeons etc.

Servicing rules/time/whats done etc (172/182)

However remember the servicing rules by Renault UK arn't the ideal one thats just what the warently department let them get...
if your using the 182 4-2-1 exaust manifold you have to make an cat to fit eithercut the 182 one up to make it match to the 172 rear exhaust system or get some pipe to fit.
Thats thing with the green clip is the MAP sensor its a GM part ironically. It looks like the pipes pluged in though else the engine would run funny.
Least that whats my tired mind thinks.
Probably not a good idea me showing anyone the ropes. Just ask any previous passengers.
A few laps though won't be cheap I think its £170 for 15 laps (thats what I worked it out to be).
Renault?
Or just get Halfords gasget stuff.
I take it you don't men the washer for the gearbox fluid thats the 10~50p (changes price a lot) washer made of copper part number doesn't matter but its in the sticky on the forum.
Some cars pass with a decat others don't just the way you cna help by getting them warm and using aditives before hand but only garentee is with a cat is is 99.99995 likly to pass so long as cats not bust.
yep people end up swopping it for the 1 day a year you need it for the test.
MPG on turbo etc depends how its mapped and how you drive they can be more economical.
Good TB kits I'd say Jenvey stuff but as for a kit I'd recomend BenR to give you the best package for your needs.
Personaly I'd spend the money on holidas and track day driving though.
