Measuring the center of one bolt to the center of the other or the top of one to the top of the other, centers are easier to measure though.
Yep you cna make them fit but no don't bother. You'll most likly have 58mm ones and 90% of kits are 58mm stuff.
Rears do nothing.
Fronts do nothing unless you get a proper decient one solidly mounted or welded to the shell .
I.E don't bother unless you've spend some money on suspension and only then gwt a decient one.
Plus its illegal to have a car on the public highway with the engine running and not someoen at the controls so no point.
Plus it invalidates your insurace.
58mm is its 16V 100% sure
58mm on the 8V or least it should be they used whatevers in stock it seemed with them.
Check though but if its a 1.2 16V its 58mm I'm sure.
It shouldn't some wear. Some others have had them wearing the biggist issue seems to be the way people drag themseleves out the car rarther than lift themselves as you always should do.
Renault will do it once usually under warenty then refuse to do it again as its a proper with you rarther...

You need to have the teeth of the ratchet check the garage should have done it there common to go with cables only a few quid for new ones and say half and hour to fit. just a bit of a bugger to do.
You could have done a search been posted time and time again.
Remove the 30mm center nut in the wheel you should see it when you remove the center cap.
