Well if there racing in championships with less money invested in them due to owners not wanting to be sure if they should invest and doing well then surly there just as good?
Low down or high up doesn't matter for a racer you need power bands.
Yep they do do services and are VAT registered so can stamp the book.
No idea how competiive I think the normal basic service ie 12/124 there normal non dealership prices of £150 or so.
Try my tyres or black circle there foten the cheapest. I found one to be cheaper with fitment than most places sold the tyres for alone and it was fitted for free as such.
I use the stock one the Continential premium contact (the 1 not the 2's as there not as good). But I get them in 195/50/15 they catch a biot on the rear arch liner if you absolutly give it some but its very little just rusb the rear arch a little bit away ideal should cut the rear arch liner...
I'd bet the belt has gone slack it needs retensioning a new belt migh as well be fitted £12 for the belt and then about half andhour to fit and tension th system.
Yep 172 Cup ins't the perfect setup so why bother trying to chnase it some money spend on Fk's or if you want to spend more H and R/ Ledas are the way to go.
I'd personally stick with stock or go to H and R/Ledas stocks not half bad.
