How is this happening, how the feck do I stop it? :(
Very frosty cold morning this morning! Went to turn the key and it turns and then a really high pitch noise like zzzzzz haha. Car started eventually on the 5th attempt with a blip or two of the throttle. Thoughts?
Second issue once the car was started and only in the cold theres a squeaky...
This Christmas want's to buy me some thing for the car and I need an induction kit... I want it to be/do the following:
Sound meaty and grunty
Not hinder my performance (not bothered on gains just so long as I don't loose anything)
Can't be over £300
Can't be a pikey K & N cone...
I don't usually attend these meets due to the chavy nature of the whole event and the usual ending which involves police. And yes this one was no different with the saxo owning chavs with the fire works etc... BUT
There were some real motor enthusiasts there and some proper nice motors. Sadly...
It's where you spray an alloy one colour ie white. And you then flick paint all over it. Saw it on a couple of cars at FCS.
Whats peoples thoughts? I kinda like it.
Right guys
I need a pot of paint, not aerosol but a tin of car paint the same colour as the car for a little project I have planned. It doesn't need to be a great match as it won't be that noticed but do places like Halfrauds do a pot of paint before they turn it into an aerosol?
If not...
Hi guys
First off a big thanks to everyone for making the effort to turn up. Especially the handful of you that made the trip from England. Sadly the meet didn't go 100% as planned as it was pissing down and the roads were well... busy. But I still had a cracking time and its always nice to...
Right lads I'm looking at putting on a set of standard 172 wheels on my 172 CUP over the winter.
Now I've just had my turinies refurbished at a cost of £300 and they are mint. Living in Wales and with the misses on a farm they are constantly getting stinking and I'm concerned the pain will...
Thinking of having this done next week at AP-D along with an Exhaust from prospeed tomorrow.
What peoples thoughts on matched inlets with a combined map? Good gains?
So my mate has just had his Megane Coupe resprayed but its currently SORN'D so we had to make due with his drive way.
Heres three of my favorites.
I found it particularly hard as we had no source of spot light to show the paint colour off.
Revels go easy on me :o I really need a DSLR...
Seems it was such a beautiful day today and probably the last we will see before the wind and rain sets in, I thought I'd take the opportunity to clean, polish, wax and gloss the car and wheels.
Then I headed down to an old Mercedes sales and service centre for a photo shoot on me todd...
At the moment I have a stock standard stealth exhaust system that's on its last legs. Now I'm thinking of replacing it with either a standard stock unit or another stealth unit as I don't want to cut the rear bumper as I think it looks crap.
My other option is to fit a 182 rear bumper with...
So at the moment my back box doesn't have much life left in it and ive been quoted £100 for the back box minus fitting. So i've been debating getting an uprated system. My questions are..
Do i go for a decat aswell? And if so what do you lads do about MOT?
Also with an uprated system does...
Im wanting to mix the back end up some how and i see all these clios with back stickers etc. As i like surfing i found this sexwax board vinyl for £1.50 and thought id consider fitting it to my rear window in the bottom left corner. The colour match is perfect for Mondial blue too.
Thoughts...
I have scratches on the windscreen from where the previous owner didnt change the wiper blades for ages and they arc across the windscreen.
Now i know alot of people can remove scratches from their headlights with a MP and scratch x etc is this possible on a windscreen?

So tonight was Cliosport South Wales meet at the Sainsburys car park in Bridgend. I originally planned to arrive at 7pm but bad traffic led to me arriving almost last :P!
We all gathered in the car park and mingled for half an hour or so. Dribbling over a very nice 197, Megane Sport and some...
Hi guys, removed my bulb from the xenon headlight and now i can get it fixed back in. The bulb is held in by a black ring and i cant seem to get it to catch right.
Any help apprechiated before night fall lol
Just bought a DA from I4Detailing and spent most the weekend using it and the results i got well were a little disappointing. Yes the car is clean and looks mint but it didn't remove half the scratches I thought it would and there are still LOADS of swirls.
I bought this kit...
This afternoon I managed to grab some shots of the car before the rain has set in.

Most of us will sell cars on every few years or so. But after driving past a vintage car last night it got me thinking how weird would the clio look in 40 years time.. I will be 62 and my clio 48.
What is a modern, quick little hot hatch im sure will be out dated and s**t... if it isnt...
