If they are in relatively good condition just get them powder coated, much cheaper and the place I go to sorts out small imperfections for no extra cost.

I had a crazy similar idea a while ago and emailed the usual suspects about trade costs.

I always thought best tyres on the back.
As you brake into a corner the weight is transferred to the front which pushes the front wheels into the ground but the rears have little weight over them so are more likely to step out, so you want the best grip on the back, especially in the wet.
Reversing is harder, no doubt about it.
I find them comfy, I like how the seats are holding me in place rather than me having to move with the car, and the position is always perfect for me.
