Yep I agree Britcar would take them I think etc. Loads of small series to use them in.
A proper race spec 172 Cup wouldn't be road usable either suspension and camber etc would be to extreme.
You can make the racer road legal if you want but gaain a proper efficient racer wouldn't be driven...

Get the fault cleared from a computer and unplug the second sesnor.
The fix is quite simple realy 16V_jon made it up just supply the lambeda sesnor wiring with a variable voltage mimicing the car having a cat there.
Fully synthetic is best realy but if your chgnaging it all the time and an't hammering it questionable value.

The light will come on in time. However if you disconnect them it comes on imedisaatly on the 182 due to the way they are programmed.
Yep GTT will be reiable put people arn't ever happy with the stock 120hp or so and just wack the boost up.
No point ballenced bottom end on one ballenced bttom end for engine which rev the GTT makes power with boost not revs.
What compressor is he on about? Need more information on his guess realy there an air con compressor on cars with air con/climate but that not at the top of the engine.
There the high pressure fuel pump but calling that a compressoer is daft its a fuel pump. Plus its on the side of the engine.

You could resue the pistons but if your rebuilidng why not go for some lighter ones and a ballenced bottom end.
The early gearbox all have speedo output sensors so the spedo works the Mk2 cars more often have the Abs system powering the speedo. You'd ned to check the gearbox your using was...

You don't need to worry about boost until you running dark smoke from the exhaust.
Remap the best idea for more power. The rest of the stuff wasted no Hp gains. Diesel need fuel not air for power.
If you don't go to a Renault dealership make sure you go somewhere where they have the proper Renault tools enough engine have been rouinged by garages thinking they can do it.
The cambelt kits £130 and its 5.1 hours officially to do the job so any quote around £300 seems very cheap.
Loads of gearboxes to use JC1 is supposed to be OK although I woouldn't. JB3 ie Valver type is fine or there always the Jc5 boxes you could use like the WIlliams has.
You want to ensure you've got speedo input one though.
