£4k wow! should be good though when its all done, and if that includes the conversion!
i had my old 1.8 16v, balanced, lightened, headwork, cams, fully rebuilt, no chip though, that cost me about £2k. it made 147bhp on a rolling road just after it was run in which was reading low for...

if you can still source them, infinity 552i co-axial speakers, should cost in the region of £50 and produce a warm sound
Cheers mate, i got some today! Just need a HU now!
Cheers anyway bear!
quite mad actually, was following a corsa home from work, thinking hmm wonder if its a 2.0, was subtle in black with tints, no chavs driver!
Anyway hit dual carriageway and someone was in front of me, but ended up at the roundabout next to him, he went righ and i went straight but he gave a...
i raced a corsa 2.0 16v turbo! stuck with him on a couple of blasts, but he battered me from a rolling start in 4th, and he had 2 passengers!
rapid as fuk! it was over 300bhp tho!
i understand what he means tho, standard engine wise.

dont underestimate a 2.0 nova/corsa! they are 150bhp standard but most tend to be slightly more, and they weight less than a valver/williams!
iv had a few very close races at york with 2.0 16v novas, but managed to hold my ground up to now! they were running 14.5s at york!
Depends really, newer obviously will be newer, lower millage, but also have more toys to go wrong, especially renaults haha!
More powerfull in most cases, but also heavier.
id go with the old skool, they are still kicking the newer cars asses! ;)
reason its so b*****d expensive is cos un-experianced drivers are getting 16vs at 17, and smashing em up!
get a 1.4 till u got a few years experiance pal!!!! trust me iv been there!!!!!
yeah I just rang HIC, they are a little bit more expensive, but they said I can drive any other car even though im not 25 yet. Also they got the price down a bit cos they still had me down as a student from a previous quote!
so I either pay (all fully comp)
£170 deposit and 11 x £70 then...
Can anyone confirm that if I get fully comp insurnace with greenlight, HIC, or adrian flux that that includes me to be able to drive any otehr vehicle 3rd party! This would come in very fekin handy!
thanks
bargain, my renewal is about £450 TPFT (could defo get it cheaper elsewhere) and im 24 with full no claims, but with all mods declaired inc the 2.0 its £800 FC
i agree! i nearly came a cropper loads of times in my old 1.4. if id have had the valver id have smashed it up! just my opinion like but thats why insurance is so high for young drivers like you, cos they know uv not had enough experiance on the roads to handle a fairly quick motor, and...
howdy, im just gonna fit some front speakers and HU in the car. iv got a genesis priofile 2 amp which could power them, but seen as there are only gonna be 2 speakers they got to be semi decent ones. any recommendations? pref under 50 notes!
Thanks!!
