There not worth £20k now.
Matt Black had one up at Specialsit Renault breakers reciently (it was broken) for £4k I think and there one on ebay a Cat something for £11k fixed up asking not worth it IMO worth £8k at best
There one on the forum for £9.2k but its a phase 1 undamaged.
orget induction kits and exhaust if your after power there tunning box for sale at the monet in the for sale section £150 I think Tiggers selling it. Thats your best way to power from a diesel cheaply. Otherwise a remap is going to giev more power and niccer delivery it just cannot be sold on...
Noise from the wheels
Check the wheel bolts are on tightly. They can come loose
Seat belt warning light
The SERV and AIRBAG lights come on its a common problem (almost every has it) its due to the wiring of the pretensioners going to an open circuit. Fiddle with the wires under the seat an...
The laster 1.2 have a better manifold 54 plate on I think there the same as the Micar one which has 80hp.
No point in pressure valves they do have a pibnt but forget them. A remap is so much better.
Oil filters a pain, don't complain though when they were built Renault put them on tighte as it wasn't in the car at the time so they could. Just think what Renault mechanics thought when they tried to change them and they were locked on solid for there first service.
Oil filter easy way it...

Cat cam are the ones the'd probably sell you in there own spec so...
Nope anyhting on a valvers a pain to do. Its not to bad DIY is your only cost effective way.
You need to check the routing of your cabel it shouldn't melt. Sounds like its dried out if you've a history of melting them so new one the only way get a proper Renault one though.
For fun I perfere the phase 1's handling.
Williams handling is different completly to the valvers much wider track all the CUp has is a bit more width and camber.
Firstly you need to undo the bolt which hold the gearlever to the selection bar which attaches to the gearbox.
The stick is part of a white plastic box which bolts with 4 bolts 10mm (I think) to the center of the car. From under the car undo the bolts and remove the center box cover and...
120/130 should be possible withouth cams but cams would be cheaper to do it
You'd want a good induction kit cold air feed, intake manifold work, 4-2-1 manifold etc and full exhaust system (a good one ) and a good remap and you are about 125hp.
Add up the price of those bits though
If you want to save money for a Valver or WIlliams do that get a diesel etc to save some money till you can afford the car you want.
I've seen decinet enough valvers go for well under £1k I know of a few Williams gone for under £1.5k even.
It will be springs along coilovers etc usualy have adjusability built into the stock to let you do this.
Thats another idea though drill out the holes on the shock.
Demon Tweek sell Eisback one (well there branded Eisback there infact an italian company stuff) for £20 but if they put there name to them there good enough.
Adjustable bottom arms can be made best way is to get plates welded over the nomal ones and drill out the holes where you need them but...
It would be quit a peeky 160hp if you did get that. It would costs about £500 extra for the 2.0 engine over a a 1.6 transplant but you'd get 50hp over a 1.6 and there no you could get even half that for less than £1k spend on the 1.6
Yep would fit same engine realy as the Clio version.
120hp or so with a manifold and remap. BenR can do some work on the intake manifold for more gains but 125hp is about your best with this and a remap and exhaust manifold.
ITB and cams depends on spec and how good stock is 175hp about your...
Ha ha thats great.
Its been going sidways hence on the picture the rear wheel is wrong. The driveshafts are probaly broken to pieces hence not included and so the gearbox is junk as well as bits of the driveshaft are in there.
Its not eaxactly a trasnaplnat its miising a few bits hafts hubs...
Try jump sating if it starts fine that way then its the starters they do fail a fair bit. Check the wiring though thats often the problem.
Check the throttle cable for your second problem it might need replacing.
