Since its ilegal to run twin engne on the road V5/MOT/road fund/VOSA is easy as they only test one engine cannot tell them you run both. Insurance hummm have to say its a test car and they should understand its a demo/test car and issure as a modified 1.8 etc

For cheapness on most care per Hp gain there the best yep.
Were talking about diesels which are a different kettle of fish diesel arn't like petrol no need to start looking at induction kits etc unless your running dark smoke.
Yep compensator is the thingie on the rear axle which adjusts the brake pressure to the rear wheels depending on the height of the rear axle.

There a twin engien Willaims been done before now. Not to difficult to do its only for uniqness wouldn't handle well a FWD is much better.

Cost depends what you want springs alone as the cheapest £30 second hand to £120 or so new loads to choice from Eisback are the only ones i like and I don't agree with just using springs the right not ideal. They will drop about 50mm front and 60 rear at best regardless of what they say Pi will...
You need more than the engine you want the looms and ECU since yo've a phase 1 its eaiser at least. Yuor gearbox will mate up but the 1.6 has the strongr JC3 rarther than your JC1 box its up to you if you want to upgrade noone any idea how how say how long yours would last.
Matt was saying £1k...
BenR was talking about making them but he was only willing to make a decinet system and the cost were huge realy plus he needed a bulk order I belive.
Thats expensive though check round on ebay and you cna find them cheaper £200 or so for the manifgold them make a cat or bit of pipe to fit.
Panel are expensive so difficult sometimes to get a quality job done doesn't take much to write them off so fixing by bodging is often the only way to make money somehtime they can do a superb job though repairing the old panels.
