hmmm. i have changed it for another one. the high idle wasnt there before i changed the CTS and the timing sensor! im running out of things to try! maybe it just needs a good mapping!

ok, iv been out for a sneaky drive, even tho my box is still fooked! under 4k the revs drop pretty low still, no sign of cutting out though, but when i gave it some above 4k, the revs never dropped below 1500rpm afterwards. and it idled at that too, but seemed to move up and down a fair bit...

yeah iv had headwork as well, not sure of the lift :S

stan. iv currently got 285 (i think) kent cams, that state power between 2k-6.5k, but they aint been setup yet, and its getting chipped soon, can i get them to keep the power up to 8k without loosing any lower down? Cheers

mi old mans got one and it donjt pick up mobile safety vans, which he aint happy about as they are the main ones that get ya!!!!!!

standard valver lump is good for 8k, as long as its not every gearchange ;) but pointless cos peak power will not be much after 7k anyway!

induction kits are poo for performance. they are much better in the winter, and sound great, but on days like this you are better off with the standard airbox! a remap wont solve it geeza

quite possibly but will be pricey as fabricated parts will be needed. i know of someone who did it in a 19 16v!

the 2.0 isnt a fan of revving, whereas the valver lump will happy rev to 8grand without any worries ;)

righto, since I got my car my old sony stereo would only work with the arial plugged in. Obviously working as the earth! Then got an Alpine and that was the same! took that out, and i tried an original headunit, but it wouldnt work at all, even with the ariel plugged in! Anyway bought this...

iv got an adaptor but i wanted it in another location so i bought some wide break ducting from DT and basically stuck that over the throttle body. worked a treat!
