i wish id done my manifold while it was off the car now. may do it when the engine is out to have the box fitted actually.
where can i order it online from???
depends really, but on a healthy engine you should be getting high oil pressure. about 1 bar when warm at idle, and pretty much max pressure when ur thrashing the pants off of it!
one of my friends never went above 1.5 bar, ever even at 7800rpm!
i couldnt get my column out, iv since read u need to have the engine out ideally to get to it fully, i cannie understand how you got it out so easily craig??
anyway, mi old man welded mine yesterday for me, proper top job, steering is sweet as a nut now, and the weld looks proper solid, so...
:( i know the feeling, some w4nkers in an astra crashed into me busting my front wing and bumper, and a kid went into the rear wing on his bike, making a mess, which i still need to sort...!
other than that its pretty much mint. so annoying
For those tha havent read about the current availability of re mapping the standard ecus on 106s and saxos (and all of other kinds of production ecus on all sorts of car), i thought i would post a bit of info.
Available from Jamsport, in Northampton, mapped on SUN rolling road, 01604 755529...
i was just about to say that! hehe!
may purchase one after all!
although dont forget pod is proper straight, if ya use it on the normal road it might not be straight!
hmmm ill check it. but its only started this idling high since i changed the CTS and timing sensor, as they were the last things left to change just about! the initial idle seems better!
bit of a feker this ones been!
