i got one of these for mi old man a few weeks back. All is good, but on 2 occasions he went past a sneaky police van taking snaps and the system did not alert him. How do these vans work? is it radar/laser, cos if so then this part just not be working properly! thanks

i had mine blasted for 10 a wheel, and coated in white for 15 a wheel was at at shotblasting specialist not an alloy wheel refurber though!

what exactly does the SMT6 offer over the unichip?? my engine has been balanced, cams, headwork, manifold, and running standard chip (for now) can you have additional features such as launch control and nos control with it as well?

put a 16v manifold on, better than the williams one and almost as good as the k-tec one!

apparently that guy had bought an ex clio cup racer engine running over 180bhp, then with the carbs he said it was 210bhp, but he wasnt running decent times really at york!

im getting it mapped by either andy at GDI or by a dastek dealer! as iv had a few mods that need mapping! renault can diagnose ur car and setup the potentiomenter if required! or u can do it urself with a multimeter but im not sure how!

well it was a firm called aldon autos. seemed to think it would cost me a lot of money and time to have them adjusted. seemed like a wierd email, must not have wanted my cash ;)

yeah thats the one lol. wasnt helping other cars coming round it as there were 2 more cars parked up on the side of the road just out of site.

think ill give that a miss for now then hehe. At the moment unichip is looking best for both price and convenience.
